Finished up these Turkeys. Not to happy about the bow, I am thinking they would look better with a smaller bow…or No bow at all. I have posted the recipe here.
This is going to be short today! Just got back from a Stress Test. I think they call it that, because it stress’s you out while you are there! HA!

Those turkeys are so cute, I love the colors you chose. But, yeah, don't bother with the bows, it hides them too much.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and for the kind comment.
Happy Woyww,
Sandy #18

ReplyDeleteHi Robin LOVE those turkeys but I think you're right a smaller bow will work even better. Sit down, have a nice cup of tea and try and relax. Hugs MMx #36
ReplyDeleteThose turkeys are wonderful! And yes, I think a smaller bow would work better to show off the lovely folded layers. Happy WOYWW!

Great turkeys - I'd go without a bow, personally. You can use the mover and shaper dies on their own, between the normal plates but they work better in the tray that is available that has a magnetic bottom to grip the die to it. then they don't move around when you use them. Helen, 20
ReplyDeleteThe End!! Lol, that made me laugh! Love the turkeys, great fun...without the bow for me :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ 7 xx
Lol your post has to be one of the shortest that I have ever read on WOYWW! I love your turkeys and agree with the others that the bow should to go :-)! I am sorry I read on Create with Joy's blog #3 that you lost your cousin to breast cancer Robin...I just WISH that they would find a cure!! I have lost too many people that I love to the dreaded disease including my handsome husband and now his best friend has only weeks to live, some times it feels too much. But what can you do, but be there and love them.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you have a wonderful week and happy WOYWW :-).

Love the turkeys but lose the bow in my opinion! They look fantastic on their own and you can see the detail. Hope the stress test wasn't too stressful!

ReplyDeleteWow, those turkeys are amazing! As soon as I saw them I fell in love.
ReplyDeleteTry to chill out a bit, put your feet up and read a book or something similar - stress tests are bad if they stress you out.
Thanks for visiting me earlier - have a good week. Hugs, Neet 24 xx

Robin, your turkeys are regal and phenomenal!! Thank you so much for sharing the link. I agree with you that the ribbon is too big and prolly no ribbon is best to showcase those stunning tail "feathers!" That butt view is priceless!! Happy WOYWW! Have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by to visit me! Darnell #12
ReplyDeleteLoving those turkeys!! Thanks for your visit, Cindy #30
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous turkeys, I just adore those tail feathers.....lol. I agree the bow should go. I am sure these will look wonderful at Thanksgiving whereever they find a home. Thanks for sharing and have a great week! Danie #25
ReplyDeleteCool! I love the way you used that series of rosettes to form the turkey's tail. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteLove the turkeys! But I'm with you on the bow...think it kinda detracts from the gorgeous detail of your turkeys and they could probably do without them. Thanks for sharing the pics and how-to, I will have to check it out when I get a few. Take care and enjoy the WOYWW! :) Deeyll #107
ReplyDeleteLoving those turkeys, they're fantastic. I wouldn't bother with a bow, they're great as they are. Hugs. Pam#38
