WOYWW–Wednesday 227

IMG_1495

Busy busy busy!  I have been taking Tim Holt’s Creative Chemistry 102 online classes.  It’s been a challenge!  It’s day 2 and I just finished day 1!  Well, this photo is distorted!  This was an attempt at a panoramic shot!  As you can see, I am knee deep in ink and paint!

If you are wondering why in the heck I am showing you my messy desk…Check out Julia’s place.  Each Wednesday, we get to travel the world and visit each others craft space…as it sits!  Mess or no mess!

Here is what I have made my first day.

Marbled

Colored Crackle.  I hope you can see the texture on this one.IMG_1498

Eroded Metallic.  My picture taking does not do this one justice.  Not real happy with my choice of colors.  Can’t wait to try this one again!

  10. You had all of that stuff out for just Day 1!! I hope this isn't a month long course, otherwise we're going to have to come and dig you out, lol! Love all the fun techniques, but those poinsettia flowers really stand out for me.

  17. ooooh they are great! And I promised myself not to craft tonight, but this bloghoppin has turned the inspiration machine(or should I say - idea stealing machine) to full speed! So many techniques to try out! I love the altered surface one, I first thought that was the industrial one as it also reminded me of somethign aged, some white metal something. I do love the metal looks: eroded metallic, industrial. Also the crackle poinsetta!

  19. Hi Robin,

Thanks for sharing what you are learning in class. I can definitely see the texture on the poinsettia. Very cool. Also, I don't think you chose the wrong colors for the metal resist. It definitely looks like some old rusted trucks I've seen around here! Enjoy the rest of the class.

    Happy belated WOYWW
