WOYWW - 178 - (What's on Your Work Desk - Wednesday)

Julia, from Stamping-Ground, started What’s on your Work Desk. She started posting “What's on your work desk, on Wednesday’s Many crafters from around the world, pause, take a snapshot of there work desks on Wednesdays, just as it is.

Each Wednesday….I would peek into other’s craft rooms. I have learned so much! The most important lesson I have learned from visiting WOYWW, is. I AM NORMAL!

I would be at home, at many others craft rooms. most importantly, I could probably find anything I was looking for!

Make sure you visit the Stamping-Ground, so that you can see how others stamp, craft and find out how normal you really are!

JoZart, last week, was traveling. I knew this would be my second week to post in WOYWW, and knew I would be in Reno, Nevada...looking for a house! I took her lead, and am posting makeshift work desk! HA!

I decided to bring my copics with me, so I could get started on my Christmas cards. I was glad I did. while hubbie was watching sports on TV, I got busy.

I tell you, I am having a time writing this blog, in the car, driving home on my iPad. I hope I don't make myself car sick. I just love old images..this was my first attempt of coloring this image. Can't wait to put it to a card. I fussy cut it, and wished I had my photo cube with me...next time I am packing it.

I still have work to do on both images. I am not happy with the shading. The light in the hotel was horrible for coloring...or at least that is my excuse.

All cleaned up and packed!

I'm sat reading my WOYWW blogs on my sick bed this week but have my mask on so you don't catch anything. I'm enjoying reading what everyone is up to this week [it's better than reading magazines :-) ]. I'm leaving a copied comment so you know I've called by because my hands are too weak and shaky to keep typing out my comments this week.
Big hugs,

Only ever get as far as taking knitting with me when I travel. Would be too disorganised to do papercrafting. Your travel kit is well organised. Good luck with the house hunting.

What are we like, not able to leave our crafting even when on holiday. I have just returned but all I take are some stamped images, a paintbrush and a tiny tin of Caran D'Ache. Been doing that for a few years now.
Had to smile at the iPad in the car.
Love the images you have shown us, looking forward to seeing what you do with them, your colouring is strong and I like it very much.
Hugs, Neet x 23 (and thanks for your visit and becoming a follower)

That is such an impressive temporary workdesk, and I love those images, especially the second one of the two children. I like taking colouring on holiday too. It is so relaxing and easy to carry. Thank you for your visit and your kind comments. Hope you managed to find a new house. xx Maggie #42

Well, I think I see what you mean by not being happy with the shading, but you've done an excellent job under poor lighting! You've managed to capture the vintage quality of the images and carry it through to delicate and thoughtful colouring, so very well done!

Hope the house hunt is going well....

Thanks for stopping by!
